A Taste of Italy!
Owner/Chef Carlo Nicolazza, originally from Naples, opened Bella Italia in 2001. He and his wife, Amy, also own Butcher Block American Grill.
Chef Carlo has spent most of his adult life in the restaurant industry, including many years on the Italian coast. These days, the chef is known for his frutti di mare Alfredo which features jumbo shrimp, plump scallops and lump crab meat. Other specialties include, chicken bella Italia, osso buco and delectable hand-made cannoli.

We got meatballs, bread, garlic knuckles, Caesar salad catered late Christmas Eve last minute and you guys came thru in the clutch…You’re always consistent and delicious and thats why we are consistently coming back…Good to have a nice family ran restaurant around…We drive from North Hills to your place passing many to get to you…The extra miles are nothing to get good service and food…

Overall by far the best Italian restaurant in Raleigh. Best pizza in Raleigh. Also, great atmosphere and very nice owner. Please keep the good work.
